Jacksonville, Fla. (Oct. 10, 2026) - The Riverside Arts Market (RAM) will welcome canines of all breeds, sizes and Halloween flair on Saturday, Oct. 31 for its annual Arf Barket. While dogs are welcome at RAM every Saturday, the Arf Barket is a special day for dog owners to enjoy some spirited Halloween fun especially for their four-legged friends.
RAM shoppers, both human and canine, will enjoy trick or treating amongst the market booths as select RAM vendors will be handing out Halloween treats. The City of Jacksonville’s Animal Care & Protective Services (ACPS) will be onsite with its adoption van, providing RAM shoppers the opportunity to meet and interact with dogs that are available for adoption.
The day’s signature event is a Dog Costume Contest hosted by Netta Furry Babies. All dogs in costume are eligible to participate and winners will be determined by audience applause. Winning pups and their owners will receive dog-themed prizes, including from Black Dog Biscuit Company and Hazel Grace & Goodies. Owners wishing for their dogs to participate in the costume contest must register HERE. The deadline to register is 5 p.m. EST on Friday, Oct. 30.
