Riverside Arts Market Celebrates 15 Years!
On Saturday, April 6, Riverside Arts Market (RAM) will be celebrating its 15th anniversary! That's 15 years of celebrating creativity, community, and local flavor here in Jacksonville, FL! Join us for a vibrant showcase of artistry, farm-fresh delights, and a decade and a half of fostering connections.
Come out to hear from some of the founders/first management of the market and what it was like when RAM was first introduced all while you shop locally. You'll also be able to dive into history as we'll be spotlighting 15 makers who have either been at RAM since day one or made an impact of their own. And did we mention dancing? Local silent disco connoisseurs, Hush Hush Jax, will be out at RAM with a tent so you can have your own dance party while listening to the top hits of 2009/2010!
This is a tremendous milestone and we're thrilled to still be here and supporting the local businesses we host every Saturday Under the Bridge. Join us on this day as we celebrate this special day where art meets heart, and every market day is a celebration!

Riverside Avondale 50th annual Home Tour
Celebrate architectural history with Riverside Avondale Preservation during the 50th annual Home Tour presented by David Gray Home Services on April 13 from 10 am to 4 pm and April 14 from 12 pm to 4 pm.
The Home Tour is as old as Riverside Avondale Preservation itself, operating since 1974, making 2024 our Golden Anniversary. Having hosted this event for 50 years, we are confident in our ability to execute a high-caliber, well-attended event for ticket purchasers, homeowners, and sponsors. The goal of Home Tour is to elevate historic preservation, restoration, design, and maintenance and promote homes in the community doing this work. Join us for an exceptional weekend of exploring some of the best homes in Riverside Avondale. Purchase your tickets now ahead of time! Some planned activities throughout the weekend are:
- The Ixia Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society plant sale is at Native Park, Saturday from 10-2 (while supplies last!)
- The property at 1504 Barrs St. is full of locally made art created by members of the Jacksonville Art Guild, FOR SALE!
- Stop by the RAP house for questions or restrooms any time (we are on the map!)
- Use #raphometour in your social media so we can follow your favorite moments on the tour

Poetry Day: Open Mic | 12:30 to 2:30pm
We invite the community and our visitors to celebrate National Poetry Month by listening to or participating in the open mic on our River Stage. The Riverside Arts Market celebrates all kinds of arts in the Northeast Florida region; from visual arts to culinary arts and the performing arts. We often have authors and occasionally poets as vendors within the market, but this open mic will be the first time we are bringing the literary arts to the River Stage! We would like to remind any participating poets that this is an all-ages event so themes or poems should be selected with that in mind. The Open Mic will be emceed by Taryn "LoveReigns" Wharwood.
Taryn "LoveReigns" Wharwood is a poet, writer, author, emcee, motivational speaker, entrepreneur and curator of Dopeness. LoveReigns captivates audiences by finding power in her truth. Her words, her aura, her spirit all scream love...but not without equal amounts of pain. If you know Love, you know yourself. She creatively uses words to reflect you back to you. The beauty, the pain, the good, the bad, the ugly, the peace, the joy, the love... even if you don't believe it yet!
