2:30pm: The Johns Twins
The Johns Twins are a singer/songwriter duo based in Jacksonville, FL. Their major influences include Jason Isbell, Noah Kahan, Dawes, and Shovels and Rope. The Johns Twins utilize powerful guitar riffs, clever lyrics, catchy melodies, and tight harmonies (often compared to Simon and Garfunkel) in their music-which can be intriguing and insightful at times, pensive and melancholy at others, and sometimes just downright comical.
Their songs are heavily inspired by their childhood where they hail from the Appalachian foothills of northeastern Alabama. The Twins have a way of capturing deep feeling and nostalgia in their songs with a slight hit of wit and humor as they tell stories from their lives and interpret the world around them. Pulling from elements of Americana, country, indie folk, and acoustic rock, The Johns Twins music spans across many different genres.
Lead singer David Johns writes lyrics and melody while Daniel Johns is the primary guitarist, composer and arranger. They love working as a songwriting duo and harmonizing with each other, and have been doing so since they were children.
4:15pm: Bridge Street Vibe
The Bridge Street Vibe was formed in St. Augustine, Fl in January 2017 by the lead Singer/Songwriter, Brittani Mueller. Starting from jamming in an abandoned vintage house off of Bridge Street, the stylings have grown from the beginnings of a Blues/Folk/Americana genre to Alternative/Blues/Rock with the underlying Folk background of the melodic lyrics heard in the original music. The following has grown to over 1,100 followers on Instagram (@thebridgestreetvibe). The Bridge Street Vibe has had the opportunities to open for Leigh Nash of Sixpence None The Richer, Arcadian Wild, Mike Mains and the Branches, and John Tibbs. The Bridge Street Vibe is seen playing music throughout Florida including in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Palm Coast, Daytona, Port Orange, and Deland while venturing out into Georgia.
