The Law Firm of Pajcic & Pajcic Bestows the Largest Gift Ever Received by Riverside Arts Market to Help Fight Food Insecurity

The Jacksonville-based law firm previously provided a $20,000 safety net during the government shutdown; the gift increased based on community response

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Jacksonville, Fla. (Nov. 6, 2025) - The Law Firm of Pajcic & Pajcic has gifted $100,000 to Riverside Arts Market (RAM) in response to the continued federal government shutdown while details surrounding its Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) change day to day, leaving nearly 160,000 Jacksonville residents who rely on SNAP benefits in a constant state of uncertainty. The gift is the largest ever bestowed to RAM and will be dedicated to a program that offers RAM shoppers $40 in special tokens that can be redeemed just like cash at any RAM vendor. The program is a standalone initiative separate from SNAP and the $40 in tokens is available to anyone in need, not solely SNAP recipients.

The program not only provides reassurance to those in need, but also serves as revenue to RAM vendors, all local businesses in the immediate region, who are seeing volatile sales during the shutdown as consumers are more discerning with their finances.

Pajcic & Pajcic previously gave $20,000 for the program, which was soft launched at RAM on Saturday, Nov. 1. Due to an overwhelming response that resulted in nearly three times more recipients than the average number of SNAP shoppers during a typical Saturday at RAM, Pajcic & Pajcic came forward with an additional $80,000 to further fund the program.

The program does not regulate a one-and-done redemption; shoppers are welcome to collect $40 in tokens each Saturday during the shutdown by visiting the RAM information booth, next to Farmer’s Row, during operating hours - 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., rain or shine. The generosity of the Pajcic & Pajcic gift will allow RAM to continue iterations of the program even after the federal government reopens.
