Riverside Arts Market Thanks Teachers With Free Gifts As 2025-2026 School Year Closes

Jacksonville, Fla. (May 27, 2026) - As the 2025-2026 school year ends and summer break ushers in, Riverside Arts Market (RAM) is offering a year-end thank you gift for teachers. On Saturday, May 30, educators can visit a handful of market vendors, all of which are owned by current or past teachers, and receive a free gift by showing the vendor proof of their educator status. All gifts are compliments of RAM. The vendors are as follows:

Gift: Single scoop of ice cream
Owner: Christine Thorseson, former 3rd, 4th and 5th grade teacher at Wards Creek Elementary (St. Augustine), Ocean Palms Elementary (Ponte Vedra Beach), and Enterprise Learning Academy (Middleburg)

Gift: Salt grinder (3-ounce)
Owner: Sarah McElrea, former 7th grade science teacher at St. Johns County School District

Gift: Affirming gift box or poster
Owner: PeTika Tave, current 4th and 5th grade English Language Arts teacher at Duval County School District
Kismet Art Studios
Gift: Painted, paper earrings
Owner: Kathleen Hill, former pre-K through 3rd grade art teacher at St. Johns County Day School (Orange Park), Annunciation Catholic School (Middleburg), and Girl Scouts
Erin Hellman Art
Gift: Artist-designed stickers
Owner: Erin Hellman, former art teacher in Baltimore and Costa Rica
The gifts are available while supplies last during market hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 30 only.
