RAP Yarden Tour
Riverside Avondale Preservation hosts our 5th Annual Yarden Tour on May 17th and at the market we will be highlighting RAP's Community Garden, which has been established in our neighborhood for nearly a decade! Showcasing their dedication and hard work that goes into growing and maintaining a garden by donating herb and flower bundles to the market. The Community Garden table will be next to the RAM tent. Stop by for a complimentary bundle while they last!

AAPI Heritage Celebration
In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, enjoy a lineup of cultural performances on our River Stage throughout the day. As well as a special edition “AAPI Heritage Trivia” from our friends at I Know It Trivia. It will be a fun way to test your knowledge and learn more about incredible AAPI contributions and culture.

Teacher Appreciation Day
This year for Teacher Appreciation Week, we are honoring the incredible teachers and mentors of Jacksonville Public Education Fund and City Year — and giving a farewell to Olive My Pickle! Teachers, visit Olive My Pickle's booth with your district ID and enjoy a complimentary pickle-on-a-stick as our THANK YOU!
On our River Stage, we will be recognizing the dedicated individuals who work to ensure equity for all students and whose efforts prepare them with the skills they need to succeed in school and life.

Fathers Day / Celebrating First Responders
Join us as we celebrate Fathers, First Responders, and the folks who show up for you when you need it most. JFRD will attend with a Fire Truck Visit for your chance to "Touch a Truck" from 10am-1pm. There will be plenty of photo opportunities to take with dad, and activities at the Art Corner all day that will allow you to create something special for the heroes in your life.

Summer is here and we're ready to kick it off in style! On June 21st we'll have a tie dye station, funky photo booth, music, and more!

LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration
As you know, we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community all year round at our Pride Tree and this year's market celebration is going to be our biggest yet! In partnership with Jax Stonewall Sports and the OUTdoorsy Adventure Team we are celebrating Pride by promoting health, well-being, and a sense of community. Expect fitness activities, a Cornhole Tournament, and more!
